UNI-MIKE. Interchangeable Anvil Type. Measures hard-to-reach locations, such as from a hole or slot to an edge, small tube wall thickness, shoulder to an edge, etc. Carbide tipped spindle face. Appropriate standards. Fitted case. The MITUTOYO Uni-Mike has a vise-like special frame, which is designed to hold interchangeable anvils. Two anvils-Flat Anvil (No. 201216) and Rod Anvil (No. 201217) are supplied with Uni-Mike. Three other anvils are available to facilitate special measurements.
Among the supplied anvils, the Rod Anvil with its .118" diameter is useful in checking small tube thicknesses or checking the distance between a drilled hole to the edge of the workpiece. The Flat Anvil is .059" in thickness, and is used to measure shoulders, lands, fins, etc., as well as regular outside dimensions.
